The Isha (woman in Hebrew) Women’s Club has been a long tradition, and is active within the Community.
As part of the Isha Art Project, the members participated in a training course on various art techniques, such as glass, porcelain and fabric painting, as well as clay craftwork. Using the skills gained, they create handicrafts with Jewish motifs and participate in various humanitarian events and seminars in Macedonia and abroad.
The women also preserve and promote Jewish tradition by preparing dishes from the rich variety of Jewish cuisine. For Jewish holidays they make challah, matzo pies, burekitas, latkes and other authentic dishes. With these specialties, they take part in various bazaars and humanitarian events, such as the event for the World Day of Bread.
