On March 20, 2011, we observed Purim. In the packed community hall Purim was celebrated in a festive spirit. Lily the Clown and Snow White gave a puppet show inspired by Jewish tradition and the story of Esther. Children and even some adults wore an array of interesting costumes, leaving smiles on the faces of the elderly. At the end, everyone wearing costumes received a sweet pleasure as a reward, while the rest were compensated with Haman’s ears (Hamentashen) that were specially made for the holiday by the women of the Women’s Club.
We would like to thank everyone who used their imagination and came wearing costumes.
You were amazing!
